Staff members had a wonderful time visiting Lone Tree on Saturday. We were excited to issue several new Library cards and help update some expired accounts. Lone Tree residents came with a lot of great questions about Library cards and services.
Since the City of Lone Tree signed a contract with the Iowa City Public Library last month, residents are now eligible for “Resident Cards” and correlating services. This means that along with checking out books, movies, discs, magazines, art prints, and Storytime kits, Lone Tree residents are now also eligible to check out equipment, use our Interlibrary Loan Services, enroll in At Home Services, and access our eResources.
Several Lone Tree residents stopped by to learn more about the eResources. Residents are now able to download audiobooks & music, eBooks & digital magazines, and access our references databases from home.
A few kids came by and had fun with the “Twitters & Tweets” Storytime and craft.
It was a great day. Thank you to everyone who came to see us!
