ICPL to host ScienTweens

by on November 2nd, 2016

Tweens will have the opportunity to discover the secrets of the environment, climate, evolution, space, and much more during ScienTweens, the Iowa City Public Library’s science program for third- through sixth-grade students.

ICPL partnered with Emily Schoerning and the Iowa City Science Booster Club for hands-on experiments that encourage tweens to explore the world around them. Join us from 3 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, in the Storytime Room. We won’t just learn about science. We’ll DO science, too!

Future ScienTweens programs will meet the third Thursday of every month, 3 to 4 p.m. in the Storytime Room. For more information, call the Library at 319-356-5200.
